Collaborated with a cross-functional team to research and evaluate state-of-the-art methods for detecting AI-generated imagery. Explored cryptographic verification (digital signatures, hashing), metadata analysis (EXIF, TWIGMA), AI-based detection tools (FotoForensics, SynthID), and invisible watermarking techniques. Developed a comparative framework using real, AI-generated, and hybrid images, and tested detection methods against adversarial techniques. Proposed a multi-layered verification system and contributed to a broader framework to combat digital misinformation.
